Blog #4

After I did the eliptical on Wednesday I did some abs. I was interested to see my heart rate while doing abs. I did 15 minutes of abs. The total amount of abs I did was 500.

On Wednesday January 24, 2007 I went to the Wellness Center. I went on the elliptical for 45 minutes. I used the glute setting on the machine. It is suppose to target your glutes and hams the most.

Blog #2

I also did my second heart rate monitoring on Thursday January 18, 2007! After class I went to the Welness Center for my workout! My work out for the day consisted of running and some weight training. I wore my monitor only while running. I ran indoors and on the tredmill.
Time: 12:30-1:15pm
Distance: 6.2 miles
Speed: 7.8-8.2 mph

Heart Rate Average: 182-186

First Blog....

The first time I wore my heart rate to try it out was Thursday January 18th, 2007 in class. Chuck showed us a warm-up. The warm-up lasted about 15 minutes. The warm-up did do what it was suppose to and by the end of the 15 minutes I was ready for more strenous activity!
